Prevent Wrinkles in 4 Simple Steps

August 19, 2019

With age comes wrinkles. It’s an unavoidable fact of life. Fortunately, there are ways to prolong the oncoming of wrinkles. The beauty industry has produced a vast number of creams and treatments to help prevent wrinkles. It is a common thing to want to hold off on getting wrinkles for as long as one can. Fortunately, there are anti-aging practices that we can apply in our lives. These simple tips can give us a shot at looking younger for a longer time.

Prevent Wrinkles —

Step 1— Always protect your skin from the sun. Sun damage is the primary cause of skin care worries. Instead of having to correct the wrinkles caused by too much sun, prevent them from happening. Notably, by wearing sunscreen, you’ll be helping your skin. Therefore, apply it even if you don’t think you’ll be outside for a long time. Or if it’s gloomy outside. UV rays are always out. You can protect your skin against the damage when you apply sunscreen that is at least 30SPF.

Step 2— Focus on antioxidants and alpha-hydroxy acids. There has been a pattern of worrying about aging skin at younger and younger ages. Now, those as young as 26 are starting to take precautions. Once you’ve started a good sunscreen routine, applying anti-aging products is a good option. Even in your twenties, anti-aging products can be safe and effective. Antioxidant-heavy products are best to use. Serums with Vitamin C are the best to use if you’re in your twenties. You’ll be protecting against environmental damage. You’ll also be able to reverse the damage that may have already happened.

Step 3— Use a retinol or tretinoin. While your twenties should be focused on prevention, your thirties should be about maintenance. Tretinoin lightens and prevents age spots. Additionally, it gets rid of fine lines and wrinkles. If you have sensitive skin, using retinol is your best option. It won’t be as drying for your skin. Plus, it will still get the job done.

Step 4— Lastly, start introducing the needle. With Botox, you can both prevent and erase wrinkles. By your forties, collagen may stop producing. Forget about previous negativity towards Botox. Now, people are getting Botox younger and younger. It’s a great way to prevent wrinkles. And, if you’re already at the point of having wrinkles, it will erase them. Hence, it’ll be like you never had them! Know where to go to get the procedure done. It’s important to note that you should aim to soften the wrinkles, not freeze your face in time. If you’ve been good at using sunscreen and the previously mentioned products, you might not need Botox at all! At the very least, you won’t be needing it for a very long time. Your skin is out for the world to see. If you’re worried about wrinkles on your face, it’s important to take care of it. Keeping your skin safe from the sun is a very important part of preventing wrinkles. Don’t let them show on your face long before they should. Follow these simple rules. Additionally, make sure that you’re showing your face some extra love with facials and cleanses.
